Mercury PLM website - redesign project
This was a project I did at work as part of the Mercury PLM Services Team.
Working with another team member with the redesigning of our team website to help direct the visitor to the information that is important and
pertains to them. I transfered the design idea from an image plan to CSS, transfered all the previous information into the new format,
and added some additional features. Site can be viewed at http://www.mercuryplm.com There is a use of HTML5, CSS, PHP, javascript with use of ajax, and MySQL database
I have put together a
database with my collection of DVD's and Blu-Rays which my friends can look at
and then even reserve movies to borrow. You can view it at
http://movies.cjstolte.com. I plan to expand upon this as I quickly put
this together in a weekend and add many features including, add display
information provided by IMDB®, user login with ability to manage reservations
and have a wishlist, and more powerful but easy to use admin control. I have
used a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP, javascript and the use of MySQL database.
I have made a website for my Dance Minor Advisor/Teacher that has wanted to
have a website as a refresher resource for a class. The class is called Dance
160 which is Ballroom Dancing, the purpose of the website is to provide a
refresher resource for students after they have finished and left the class. I
have created a Content Management System designed specifically for the purpose
that is needed and making it as easy as possible for her and others that are not
very computer literate so that anyone can easily update the website. You can
visit the site at
http://www.isudance160.com. I am working currently on adding an event
feature so that she and others can add event information for students to either
go out and see a show or go out danceing which are requirements to pass the
class. I am using HTML, CSS, PHP, javascript, and the use with MySQL database.
I have created a management website for a team I am a part of for a well
known competition that takes place at Iowa State. The competition is called
Kaleidoquiz and is a 26 hour trivia competition with tons of other parts
added to it. The site I have created manages users and their availability and
contact info. But the main purpose is as a team resource for use during the
event including, uploading documents and audio recordings to complete tasks and
past information, trivia question information entering and updating, ability to
search the questions if we need to figure something out related to a past
question, update information about upcoming events we need to attend or
deadlines, a projector specific view that automattically updates information of
the current question, time left to answer question, upcoming deadlines, and
current estimated score, and a few more features. I will provide a video shortly
of the features since you have to be logged in to be able to access any of the
content but the site is available at
http://kq.cjstolte.com. I have used a combination of HTML5, CSS3, PHP,
javascript, and using a MySQL database.
I created A simple website as a visual way to show off the research we had
done on a topic for an english class I had first semester freshman year:
I have started some personal exploration into getting involved with some
Mobile App Development. I have created an app that was originally targeted
toward the Blackberry Playbook™ and is actually originally designed with HTML5
background. I have placed it on my website and is best if viewed in an updated
version of Google Chrome. It is currently not in the Blackberry® market yet as I
am currently getting it ready to be submitted for their approval. This app is
for use with the 2012 FIRST Robotics Competition®, Rebound Rumble™ and
help provide a current score of an ongoing match. I hope to soon release both an
Android® and iOS® version too. I also would like to add features in the future
but that is not currently high on the todo list. It is viewable and usable
currently at
http://www.cjstolte.com/blackberry/reboundrumblescorer/index.html and will
hopefully be added to Blackberry Playbook market soon. I have used HTML5, CSS3,
with a jquery mobile framework for this app.
